Israeli air strikes have hit multiple sites in Yemen controlled by Houthi fighters, including a power station near the capital Sanaa and the ports of Hodeidah and Ras Isa, according to Israel’s military. The strikes come amidst heightened regional tensions.

In Lebanon, several casualties have been reported following Israeli air strikes in the southern region. Despite the attack, Israel’s military has stated that it remains “committed to the understanding of the ceasefire” with Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has warned of a “catastrophic situation” as Gaza’s hospitals run out of fuel for their power generators. Medical sources report that at least 21 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn on Friday.

The ongoing conflict has seen devastating casualties. Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s offensive in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 46,006 Palestinians and injuries to 109,378 others. In contrast, the Hamas-led attacks on Israel that same day led to the deaths of at least 1,139 Israelis, with over 200 people taken captive.

This escalation highlights the continuing and severe humanitarian crisis in the region.
