India: Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) were impacted by light rain on Saturday evening, which resulted in an improvement in air quality, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 285 around 5 am, indicating ‘poor’ air quality. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Saturday was recorded at 7.7°C, with a maximum of 17°C, three degrees below the season’s average. A generally cloudy sky with light rain has been forecast for Sunday by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In Himachal Pradesh, cold wave conditions continue, with moderate rain expected in the lower areas and fresh snowfall predicted in the middle and high hills, including Shimla and Manali. A fresh western disturbance is expected to affect northwest India from the night of January 14, with light rain and snow anticipated in isolated areas on Thursday and Friday.

- Delhi, India: Partly sunny and cool with a couple of showers, mainly early in the day. The high is expected to be 62°F (16°C), and the low around 49°F (9°C).
- Shimla, India: Cooler with a cloudy morning, followed by clouds and sun in the afternoon, with a thundershower in spots. The high is forecast at 47°F (8°C) and the low at 31°F (0°C).
- Manali, India: A little snow in the morning, with mostly cloudy skies and colder temperatures. The high is predicted at 17°F (-8°C), and the low at 1°F (-17°C).
