At least 21 people, including two children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Saturday in Gaza, according to hospital staff, as ceasefire talks continued in Qatar after nearly 15 months of conflict.
Thousands of Israelis rallied once more to demand a ceasefire, shortly after Hamas released a video of one of the hostages still held in Gaza. The release of such videos and the increase in airstrikes are seen as efforts to exert pressure during the ongoing negotiations.
In southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, a small boy was seen crying over his father’s body, while a woman mourned over another body wrapped in white plastic. Hospital staff at Nasser Hospital reported that three airstrikes targeted a car, a house, and people on the street in the city.

According to the Civil Defense, an airstrike destroyed a residential area behind the Saraya complex in Gaza City, resulting in at least five deaths. The Civil Defense, the first responders linked to the Hamas-run government, confirmed the casualties.
Further airstrikes on Saturday evening killed three people in Bureij and another three in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, as reported by Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where the bodies were taken. Among the deceased was a child. A young man was seen leaning against a hospital wall, weeping in grief.
